- Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in January 2005.

- Director to Foreign Secretary (2017 – 2018)
- Deputy Chief of Protocol (2016 – 2017)
- Deputy Director Foreign Secretary Office (2011 – 2012)
- Assistant Director Foreign Minister Office (2009 – 2011)
- Desk Officer in United Nations Division (2006 – 2007)
- Held various diplomatic assignments at Pakistan Missions abroad:
- Third Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan, Tehran (2007 – 2009)
- First Secretary at the High Commission for Pakistan, London (2012 – 2016)
- Minister/Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Pakistan, Doha (2021 – 2025)
- Presently serving as Consul General of Pakistan at Jeddah since December, 2025.
