Consul General Khalid Majid meets Saudi Auqaf Committee Jam’miyah Al Kheiriah

Jeddah: Mr. Khalid Majid, Consul General of Pakistan, received a delegation of Saudi Auqaf Committee Jam’miyah Al Kheiriah, headed by Mr. Fahad Saad Muhammad Aldosary, Regional Director in his office today.

During the meeting, the Consul General was briefed about the charitable activities of the Committee. The Consul General deeply appreciated the Committee’s assistance and hospitality extended to the Pakistani Umrah Zaireen, who were stuck up in Makkah Al Mukaramah in March 2020 after the cancellation of international flights due to COVID-19.

The Consul General lauded the efforts of Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah and Jam’miyah Al Kheiriah in making extensive arrangements as well as providing all possible facilitation to the Pakistani Umrah Zaireen.

The Consul General also expressed deepest gratitude to Khadim ul Haramain Al Sharifain, the Crown Prince and the Saudi government for taking effective measures for the safety and socio-economic well-being of the Saudi citizens and expatriates alike in the wake of COVID-19 situation.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Consul General Shaiq Ahmed Bhutto and Community Welfare Attaché Majid Memon.
