Consul General Khalid Majid paid a courtesy call on Maj. Gen. Saleh bin Awadh Al-Jabri, Head of Police Makkah al Mukarramah Region on Tuesday, 16th November 2021. The Police Chief welcomed the Consul General and appreciated the role of Pakistani community in the socio-economic development of the Kingdom by displaying law abiding behaviour.

The Consul General praised the Police Department for its excellent work in Western Region of the Kingdom in maintenance of law and order. Matters pertaining to Pakistanis residing in the region such as burial or transportation of dead bodies of the deceased Pakistanis, registration of FIR at local police stations, removal of travel ban and provision of translator at the local police stations came under discussion. The Police Chief assured the Consul General of his cooperation for the resolution of any problem pertaining to the Police Department.

While acknowledging the very cordial and brotherly relations between the two countries, both sides vowed to continue working with the same zeal through sustained institutionalised mechanism.
