Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Khalid Majid paid a day long visit to Taif City on 24th June, 2021. He was accompanied by Consul Mr. Mohammad Hassan and Community Welfare Attache Mr. Majid Hussain Memon.
During the visit, the Consul General held meetings with the following dignitaries;
The Consul General thanked the heads of concerned departments for their support and facilitation to the Pakistani Workers in timely resolution of their issues including non-payment of salaries and final exit etc. The heads of the departments assured to extend maximum facilitation to the Consulate General on all relevant matters.
The Consul General also held a meeting with the head of King Abdul Aziz Hospital followed by an interaction with Pakistani Doctors and Paramedical staff as well as visit of its various facilities and meeting with Pakistani patients admitted in the hospital. Besides, he visited King Faisal Medical Complex and appreciated the services being provided by them. The Consul General requested the heads of the two hospitals to increase the number of Pakistani Doctors and Paramedical Staff in their teams and offered them all possible facilitation by the Consulate General in this regard. The heads appreciated the offer and assured of positive consideration.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Consul General also visited Pakistan International School, Taif to meet parents of students and other Pakistani community members living and working in Taif City. The parents and other community members discussed and shared various proposals for further improvement of quality of education being provided by the school. The Consul General assured the community members of consideration of their proposals and to extend maximum facilitation in resolution of the issues being faced.
