
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), Government of Pakistan and Middle East Healthcare Company, KSA for Employment of Healthcare Professionals
Jeddah, June 15, 2026. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Government of Pakistan, and Middle East Healthcare Company, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), was signed on 15th June, 2026 at the company’s headquarters in Al Zahra District, Jeddah. The MoU was signed on behalf of the Government of Pakistan by the Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Mr. Syed Mustafa Rabbani. MoU aims to enhance cooperation in the recruitment and placement of qualified Pakistani healthcare professionals in the Kingdom. The agreement reflects the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to expanding overseas employment opportunities for skilled healthcare workers and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector.
Middle East Healthcare Company is a leading healthcare provider in the region, operates a network of hospitals and medical facilities and is recognized for delivering high-quality healthcare services. Under the agreement, the company will explore the recruitment of qualified Pakistani doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to meet its growing workforce requirements.
Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Consul General highlighted Pakistan’s highly skilled healthcare workforce and reiterated that the partnership would create valuable employment opportunities for Pakistani professionals while contributing to stronger economic and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
The MoU marks an important step towards promoting the export of skilled healthcare manpower from Pakistan and supporting the country’s efforts to enhance overseas employment and foreign remittance inflows.
