Minister of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony visits Office of the Pakistan Hajj Affairs and interacts with the Pakistani expatriates.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain visited the Office of the Pakistan Hajj Affairs at the Consulate General of Pakistan Jeddah yesterday. He was received by Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro who briefed the Minister on the arrangements made for the upcoming Hajj 2024 (1445H). The planning, procurement and operational aspects of Hajj were also discussed in detail. Additional Secretary MoRA Dr. Atta ur Rahman was also present in the briefing.

Later on, Chaudry Salik Hussain, who also holds the portfolio of Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, visited the Welfare Section of the Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah and took briefing on the welfare services being provided to the Pakistani community. The Federal Minister also interacted with the applicants and the Pakistani expatriates who visited the Welfare Section and listened to their grievances and directed the Welfare Officers for continued improvement in services for addressing the expatriate problems.
