Pak Navy and the Royal Saudi Navy Successfully Conclude the Naseem Al Bahr XIV Bilateral Naval Exercise.
Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia – September 12, 2023 – The bilateral Naval Exercise, Naseem Al Bahr XIV, between the Pakistan Navy (PN) and the Royal Saudi Navy Force (RSNF), was recently held in Al Jubail, KSA from September 2 to September 12, 2023. This joint exercise saw the participation of four ships from the Pakistan Navy.
The purpose of the exercise was to facilitate professional interaction between the personnel of both navies, conduct various tactical maritime exercises, and engage in Special Operations Forces (SOF) operations. These collaborative training activities aimed to strengthen interoperability and enhance understanding of each other’s procedures.
The training activities throughout the exercise were closely monitored and supervised by the respective force Commanders of the Pakistan Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. Their active involvement ensured the smooth and effective execution of the exercise, contributing to the overall success of Naseem Al Bahr XIV.
The exercise concluded on a high note with a reception dinner held onboard a Pakistan Navy ship. Dignitaries including the Ambassador of Pakistan, H.E Ahmad Farooq, high-ranking officials from both navies, and prominent members of the community graced the occasion. This event provided an opportunity for all attendees to further strengthen the existing warm and friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which share common cultural values.
This significant bilateral naval exercise further solidifies the exceptional relationship between the Pakistan Navy and the Royal Saudi Navy. It reflects the commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation and collaboration in the maritime domain. By conducting joint exercises and fostering mutual understanding, both navies are well-positioned to effectively counter emerging maritime challenges and ensure the safety and security of regional waters.
