Pakistani Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar arrives in Riyadh
to participate in the fourth session of the Saudi Media Forum

RIYADH: February 18, 2025 Saudi Deputy Minister of Media Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz received Pakistani Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar at King Khalid International airport in Riyadh today. Pakistan’s Minister will participate in the three-day International Media Conference in Riyadh from February 19 to 21.

On the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistani Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a close friend of Pakistan. Both countries enjoy deep historical and cultural relations. Attaullah Tarar said that the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for progress and prosperity is exemplary and the steps taken by Saudi Arabia in economic development and rising trade activities are worth emulating.

Tarar added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a prominent supporter of peace, prosperity, stability and interfaith harmony. He said that the Saudi Media Forum is an important platform to benefit from Saudi Arabia’s media experiences.

It is worth noting that important media figures, including international figures from around the world, are participating in the Saudi Media Forum, which aims to enhance cooperation in the media sectors, discuss modern trends, explore ways to improve media production, digital journalism, content creation, study new business models for media, digital transformation and financial sustainability in the digital age. The media forum will also discuss strategies for dealing with fake news and the role of media institutions in restoring public trust. The forum will also discuss important topics such as artificial intelligence, the future of journalism, media economics, digital systems, media disinformation, the entertainment industry, and digital broadcasting.

Pakistan’s Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar is also scheduled to meet important international figures on the sidelines of the conference.
