Pakistani Secretary of Culture, Farina Mazhar, connects with Saudi Cultural Icons
Pakistan’s Secretary of Culture and National Heritage, Farina Mazhar, who is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, interacted with three icons of Saudi art and culture. She held separate meetings with Yusuf Kekey, Supervisor of Abdul Raouf Khalil Museum Jeddah; Mohammad Al Subeh, Director General of Saudi Arabian Society of Culture and Arts Jeddah
and Khalid Khidr, an internationally renowned and legendary Saudi photographer who has more than 2 million photographs to his credit.
The purpose of Farina’s visit was to explore ways in which Pakistan and Saudi Arabia can strengthen their cultural ties. During their discussions, they explored issues such as protecting cultural heritage and fostering creative collaboration between the two countries. They discussed ideas for future projects that both nations could collaborate on to benefit from each other’s unique culture.
Farina expressed her determination to promote a stronger relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia through cultural cooperation. She stated that joint efforts by both countries could lead to the exchange of ideas, practices, and values to benefit both nations.
