Pakistan’s Navy Ship PNS ‘Hunain’ visits Jeddah Islamic port.

Jeddah, August 18, 2024. The Commander of Pakistan Navy Ship PNS ‘Hunain’ Capt. Haroon Aziz, hosted a dinner reception in honor of the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Farooq, Maj Gen Ahmed Bin Ali Al Dubais, Quaid Al Muntaqa Al Gharbia (Western Region Commander), Rear Admiral Mansoor Bin Saood Al Jayad, Quaid Al Astol Al Gharbia (Western fleet Commander), Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Majid, Pakistani diplomats and Community here at Jeddah Islamic Port.
Welcoming the guests onboard, Captain Haroon Aziz thanked the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Farooq, Saudi military leaders and Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Majid, for the excellent hospitality extended to the crew during their entire visit.
Ambassador of Pakistan to Saud Arabia, Mr. Ahmed Farooq said the visit of PNS ‘Hunain’ to Saudi Arabia will further strengthen the bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He said that the Pakistan and Saudi Arabia partnership is built on the foundation of a long-standing, deeply rooted friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which extends beyond governments to a strong people-to-people connection.
A significant number of Saudi Military and naval officials were also in attendance. Pakistani community members and professionals were briefed about the various capabilities and aspects of the Pakistan Navy Ship Hunain. PNS Hunain started its maiden voyage from Romania, it is a newly commissioned ship and is on the way to Pakistan where it will be formally inducted into the Pakistan Navy.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and dinner.
