Pakistan’s Navy Ship PNS ‘Khaibar’ welcomed at Jeddah Islamic port.

Jeddah: February 17, 2026. The Commander of Pakistan Navy Ship PNS ‘Khaibar’ Capt. Ali Raza, hosted a dinner reception in honor of the Officers of the Royal Saudi Naval Force, Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Syed Mustafa Rabbani, Saudi business leaders, Pakistani diplomats and notable Pakistani community members here at Jeddah Islamic Port.

Welcoming the guests onboard, Captain Ali Raza thanked Saudi military leaders and Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Syed Mustafa Rabbani, for the excellent hospitality extended to the crew during their entire visit.

The Commander of Pakistan Navy Ship Capt. Ali Raza said that the Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy brotherly relations. These relations are firmly anchored in common faith, shared history and glorious tradition of mutual support to each other on the issue of core interest. These multifaceted relationship spans to a wider domain of political, diplomatic, economic, military and cultural dimension. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintains one of the most enduring defense partnership in the Muslim world. In a recent past, a landmark achievement in mutual defense agreement was made i.e. “Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement” and we are sure that this defense agreement will raise the brotherly relations of both the nations to new heights in the days to come.

A significant number of Saudi naval officials were also in attendance. Pakistani community members and professionals were briefed about the various capabilities and aspects of the Pakistan Navy Ship Khaibar.

PNS Khaibar is the newest ship of Pakistan Navy which was built at Turkiye, Istanbul and commissioned in Pakistan Navy on 20 Dec 2025. Moreover, it is most technological advanced ship of Pakistan Navy equipped with latest command & Control system integrated with modern weapons and advanced sensors.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and dinner.
