Saudi National Day celebrations by Pak Consulate and Pak Community in Jeddah- A Grand Show of brotherhood  

Jeddah 25th Sep 2024: To celebrate the National days of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the Consulate General of Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Investors Forum in Jeddah organized joint celebratory event in a grand banquette hall in Jeddah.

This event was organized to strengthen the bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and to showcase the shared cultural and social values of both countries. High-profile diplomats, leading Pakistani and Saudi entrepreneurs, a cross-section of Pakistani and Saudi community members, and representatives from Saudi and ethnic media were present on the occasion.

Event started with National anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. An art exhibition by Pakistani and Saudi artist provided a unique insight into shared art and cultural heritage of both peoples.

In his address, the Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Majid, underlined the importance of art and culture in diplomacy between the both brotherly countries. He said that bilateral relations between the two countries has no parallel in international relations. Strong and deep religious, cultural and socio- economic ties provide a foundation for our brotherly relations.

The Consul General also praised the pivotal role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in fostering peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Chairman Pakistan Investors Forum, Mr. Shafqat Chaudhary in his remarks highlighted the role played by Pakistani business community in the economic development of Saudi Arabia. He praised the support and policies provided by Royal leadership of Kingdom towards socio economic development of Saudia.

The event featured a variety of enthralling cultural performances by Pakistani and Saudi singers and school children to highlight shared cultural features.  The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
