Ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Unmatched, says Advisor to Prime Minister

Tahir Ashrafi, the Advisor to the Prime -Minister of Pakistan on Middle Eastern affairs, spoke to local Saudi media at the Consulate General of Pakistan Jeddah, highlighting the unshakeable relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. According to Ashrafi, the ties between the two countries are unrivaled worldwide.
Ashrafi also commended the vital humanitarian role played by the Kingdom in facilitating the return of Pakistani brothers from Sudan. He expressed appreciation for the critical role played by the consulate general of Pakistan Jeddah and Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh in the safe evacuation of Pakistanis from Sudan.
Regarding the pressing issues of Kashmir and Palestine, Ashrafi pointed out that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share the same position. He urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as well as other Arab and Islamic countries to unite and protect the rights of the people of Palestine and Kashmir.
Additionally, Ashrafi welcomed the successful Iran-Saudi Arabia agreement, which holds significant importance for the world and Islamic countries.
Emphasizing the importance of Mecca and Medina Ashrafi stated that they hold a central place in the nation and Islam. He conveyed his gratitude towards the Kingdom’s efforts in ensuring safe and efficient journeys for pilgrims and visitors, specifically with the Mecca Road. Ashrafi is currently in the kingdom to participate in the Global Council for Managing the Two Holy Mosques.
